On the death of a member, a death grant shall be paid. This amounts to € 1,000.00, but not more than three times the monthly old-age or occupational invalidity pension due to the member at the time of death.

The death grant is to be awarded one by one:

• the spouse(s) or the registered partner(s),
• the children
